As a blockchain engineer, you'll help us drive and expand our catalog of blockchain client nodes and make changes, either directly to open source projects or directly to our own binaries. We're building critical infrastructure to accelerate the onboarding of useful apps across the ecosystem, and you will gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of blockchain nodes and applications.
Responsibilities
1. Investigate, deploy and optimize protocol nodes to enhance the SenseiNode infrastructure's capabilities.
2. Build docker images and dockerize SenseiNode node infrastructure.
3. Collaborate on the development of our monitoring system, including understanding various Rest API schemas and data structures.
4. Uphold robust security measures to safeguard the integrity of our infrastructure.
5. Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in blockchain technology through continuous research.
6. Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure top-quality outcomes.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to the architecture.
8. Work collaboratively with team members to document project progress, codebase, and technical specifications.
9. Perform regular upgrades on the node’s client software we use.
10. Help in the migration of nodes and other related infrastructure.
Requirements
1. Minimum 1 year of prior proven experience as a Developer or DevOps role.
2. Proficiency in Docker, Docker-Compose and Docker Hub.
3. Strong grasp of blockchain concepts and distributed ledger technologies.
4. Familiarity with prominent blockchain platforms like Ethereum.
5. Proficiency in programming languages Python and Bash Script.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and an aptitude for teamwork.
7. Experience in using version control systems like Git for seamless code collaboration.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Fluency in English.
