About the team

The Financial Reporting team is responsible for the consolidation of financial statements of all subsidiaries of the group and for the preparation and issuance of the financial statements filed to the SEC.

The team is always learning and trying to push the limits, relying in part on the large diversity of people’s profiles and backgrounds.

About the position

We are looking for an Interim Consolidation Accounting Analyst to support our financial reporting team during a 6months periodmaternity leave coverage. This temporary position is expected to last 5-8 months period. This role is critical in supporting the monthly close and reporting processes for a U.S.-domiciled, publicly traded company. The role includes consolidation of international subsidiaries, intercompany eliminations, preparation of financial reports, and assistance with audits and regulatory filings. You will also contribute to the final phase of implementation for our new consolidation and reporting system.

Location

This position is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare and review monthly financial close deliverables, including stock-based compensation and lease accounting entries.
  • Ensure accurate consolidation of subsidiaries in compliance with U.S. accounting standards (U.S. GAAP).
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions, adjustments, and eliminations.
  • Perform monthly fluctuation and variance analyses to support internal management reporting.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual filings (10-Q, 10-K) required by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  • Support external financial audits by providing schedules, documentation, and analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting and FP&A to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Assist in the testing and final implementation of our new consolidation software.

About you

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3 years of experience in similar position
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Acumatica or other ERP experience required

Skills

  • Advanced level in both spoken and written English (FCE level)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel & word) and Google Workspace (sheets & docs)
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company in different countries
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Capacity to learn continuously and passion for pushing the limits.
